Sally Melms
10 Black Head Coach
Sally comes to Dynasty with a rich history in USAV. She played club volleyball in the 1980’s and went to Nationals in 1983 and 1984. She coached volleyball while she was in colllege, the 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams at Our Lady of Peace School, in KCMO. When her children were old enough to play she started coaching volleyball again at Prince of Peace (Olathe) in their CYO program. She has been coaching there for the last 7 years, where she coached 3rd – 7th grade girls.
Sally will be the Head Coach of the 10 Black team in the 2012-2013 season.
Sally has kept up with the latest coaching techniques through her attendance at coaching clinics and she is current in all VIRTUS Training requirements. She believes that athletics can be a great opportunity for players to learn life-long skills such as positive thinking, teamwork, leadership and good sportsmanship.
